Casco Bay Movers Work/Study Program offers free classes to dedicated dancers of all ages. Students 16 and older may trade weekly work-study hours either by assisting with the administration or maintenance of the studio. Caregivers/guardians may participate in work-study programs on behalf of their students. We look for mature, reliable, trustworthy dancers & caregivers with computer and customer service skills and an interest in dance and arts administration.
This program is for dancers interested in financial assistance with their dance training. Work-study participants are selected through an application and interview process. Once accepted into the program, Work-study students are assigned a work schedule in various positions in the studio in exchange for free and discounted classes.

REQUIREMENTS

Work with CBM’s office manager to create a schedule that suits your and the studio’s needs.

Commitment is for the entire school year, September – June.

Work-study participants will offer support to management during CBM’s annual spring concerts.
TERMS

Work-study hours can be exchanged solely for classes or rehearsal space. All work-study participants must maintain sufficient hours as agreed to by both parties.

You must attend your shift(s) consistently every week. Failure to do so shall result in the cancellation of your benefits.
