New Fitness Classes ~ PiYo/Turbo Kick!

Saturdays from 8-9 am beginning October 19th

Join instructor, Tanya Sheehan, for a 50/50 mix of PiYo & Turbo Kick each Saturday, 8-9 am, 10/19-12/21 (no class on 11/9 or 11/30). Guaranteed to be a great workout and so much fun! Classes are $12 each or save by purchasing all 8 for $89. Cash or check only.

Tanya Sheehan

Growing up in Massachusetts, Tanya Sheehan studied ballet and jazz at the Donna Miceli Dance Center and Phillips Academy Andover. She continued her dance studies at Steps on Broadway in New York City. Tanya began teaching group exercise to youth and adults in 2000. Her fitness-based classes—including PiYo, Cardio Kick, and jazz funk—have been offered at Brown University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, and studios across New England. In the summers she has coordinated the dance classes, choreography workshops, and performances at Phillips Academy Andover.

 

Tanya holds a BA in English and Art History from Georgetown University and a Masters and PhD in Art History from Brown University. When she is not breaking a sweat, Tanya is a professor in the Art Department at Colby College.

Sweat, stretch, and strengthen! One of the hottest fitness formats today, PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility work of yoga.

Set to the latest music, this low-impact workout will burn fat, define your entire body, and improve balance.   

 

Turbo Kick

This cardio fitness class combines kickboxing and dance moves choreographed to high energy music. It includes strength and endurance training, upper and lower body sculpting, core work, and a final stretch. Join us as we punch, kick, and pump our way to healthier bodies!
