indiedanceworks dance company portland maine
Established in 2009 by Susan Thompson-Brown and Lisa Quijano Wolfinger, indiedanceworks has performed throughout Maine and New England, bringing life to original choreography, from jazz and modern, to contemporary and more. In 2012 and 2013, indiedanceworks produced indierhythmcollective, a dance and musical collaboration with Rhythm & Sole, Collective Motion, and Occupation Sound. They have also performed at the Casco Bay Movers Dance Studio, Ends and Edges, F.A.B (FrancoAmerican/Bates), Red Hot & Ladylike, Once Upon a Summer Night with L Street Dance Theatre, Life Beyond Cynicism with Art Moves, and benefits throughout southern Maine. In 2014, indiedanceworks created Outside Looking In, a dance concert celebrating the creativity and diversity of dance in Maine.
