Our eight-week summer session will run from July 6th through August 29th. We will offer classes both online via Zoom and with limited enrollment in the studio. For the safety of students and staff, masks must be worn at all times. Classes will be paced to allow for acclimation to mask-wearing and will be spread out to limit the number of dancers in the space and all windows and doors will be open during classes to circulate fresh air. Floors and high touch surfaces will be sanitized after each class. Restrooms will be available, however, showers will be closed until further notice.
Weekly Drop-in Classes (classes will run in person with limited capacity and online via Zoom)
For in-person classes: Students will need to reserve their spot in the class ahead of time via Dance Studio-Pro. $17 or a regular card punch ($155 for 10 classes)

About the Levels:
Beginner – Assumes little to no previous experience. Regularly weekly attendance though not required is most beneficial to help you acquire the movement vocabulary and muscle memory.
Beginner/Intermediate & Slow Intermediate – Recommended for dancers with two or more recent years of training in the dance form, and a strong understanding of the vocabulary.
Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced –For dancers with technical proficiency and a thorough understanding of the vocabulary.
Repertory Classes – Repertory Classes are offered in the fall and spring sessions in both Hip Hop and Modern/Jazz/Contemporary Forms. Repertory classes are geared toward the experienced dancer who is wishing to expand their training by learning and performing choreography. Participants agree to commit to the full session of weekly classes, the dress rehearsal, and performances and take an additional weekly class to support the repertory work. Traditionally offered twice a year, in the fall and spring.
Adult dancers are invited to dress in any dance or athletic wear that allows a full range of movement and that they feel most comfortable in. Dressing in layers, especially during the cold weather months, is recommended.
Footwear recommendations by dance form – Ballet: cotton socks or ballet shoes. Jazz: bare feet, cotton socks or jazz shoes/jazz sneakers. Hip Hop: sneakers designated for indoor use only. Tap: tap shoes with a low heel and full sole are recommended, especially for beginner and beg/inter classes. Modern: bare feet or cotton socks. (Nylon or synthetic socks tend to be very slippery on the dance floors!)
